Cover has a few creases near edges; large section of shrink missing near left on front and right on back; two faint green pen marks near top-right and discoloration spots on back. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly easy-to-read wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)
The Right to Love, by Nancy Wilson, is a repackaging of her 1967 album Lush Life with a different track order and omitting the song Sunny. Arranged by Billy May, Sid Feller, and Oliver Nelson, the album showcases Wilson’s sultry and soulful vocal style, with standout tracks like the title song praised for its orchestral arrangement and jazz standard interpretation. Critics, such as Nick Dedina from AllMusic, commend the album for its sophisticated mix of big band, small-group jazz, and moody orchestral elements, highlighting Wilson’s ability to bridge genres. The album remains a testament to Wilson’s interpretive artistry and her significant influence in jazz and pop music
