Black and white photo of a Private stationed at Camp Cooke Calif.  Posted Nov 1942.

There is evidence that this must have been in a scrapbook at one time can see the remains of black paper.  Can make out was in Recon Co 34th Armored Regiment.  Was able to find this unit was heavily involved in the breakout from Normandy, the liberation of France, and later fought in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.

This base today is now Vandenberg Air Force Base.
