This is a set of animal ornaments from the books of beloved children’s author, Eric Carle. They were made by Lunt Silversmiths. Lunt went out of business about 14 years ago. The ornaments are ceramic and signed on back. The smallest is the cardinal which measures approximately 2” wide and 2.5” high. They have a plastic insert to hold each ornament in place and have never been out of the case, so they are all in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The box is in good condition but shows a little wear and slight warping. The set is hard to find.
