Import from Canada. Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges, light-scuffing and spots of surface abrasion (front/back); bottom left corner has a small cut. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-re with mild wear. Noticeable shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners; bottom edge has come unglued and has a developing split near center. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Record Club Pressing. (Notch in bottom-right.)
Can You Feel It, by the Canadian rock band Lighthouse, marked a significant shift as it was recorded without lead vocalist Bob McBride, who failed to appear for the sessions, leading to his dismissal. Skip Prokop and Ralph Cole took over lead vocals, with Prokop also switching to guitar full-time, showcasing the band's adaptability during a transitional period. The album achieved gold certification in Canada, reflecting its commercial success despite internal challenges. Its standout hit single, Pretty Lady, became a Top 10 hit in Canada, reached No. 53 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and held the No. 1 spot in Hawaii for six consecutive weeks, earning gold status in Canada. Historically significant, the album benefited from producer Jimmy Ienner's guidance and reflected Lighthouse's resilience amid lineup changes, contributing to their legacy as a pioneering Canadian jazz-rock ensemble.
