Details
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges, light-scuffing, surface impressions and some tiny surface abrasions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (WB ads). Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Notch in bottom-right.)
Thunder in My Heart, the fifth studio album by English-Australian singer-songwriter Leo Sayer, was released in 1977, showcasing a disco-infused sound produced by Richard Perry. The album features a blend of vibrant basslines, strings, and Sayer’s emotive vocals, with notable contributions from musicians like Ray Parker Jr. on guitar. The title track, Thunder in My Heart, became a significant hit, reaching No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 38 on the US Billboard Hot 100, while also peaking at No. 11 in Australia. In 2006, a remixed dance version titled Thunder in My Heart Again by Meck featuring Leo Sayer topped the UK Singles Chart, marking Sayer’s second UK No. 1 single nearly three decades later. Another single, Easy to Love, also achieved success, reaching the Top 40 in the US and Canada.
