Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Non gate-fold cover looks great; some creasing at front top left/back top right corner; light scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); sticker residue near front top right. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Some shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use, especially at bottom. (Not a cut-out.)
Kenny, a self-titled album by Kenny Rogers, includes the hit singles Coward of the County and You Decorated My Life. Tulsa Turnaround is a reworking of an earlier song Rogers recorded with The First Edition. Goodbye Marie was later recorded by Bobby Goldsboro, charting as a single for him in 1981. The album reached the top five of the US Billboard album chart and no. 1 in the Country charts (where it stayed for a record total of 25 weeks). In the UK, it was a top ten album as well. Biographer Chris Bolton notes that this album "does its best to represent every musical personality of Kenny Rogers." Stephen Thomas Erlewine states that the album mixes music styles from Country to Disco. The Kenny album has reportedly sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
