Details
Vinyl plays nicely, there's a small patch of crackles during the first song (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); a few discoloration spots. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top-edge, slightly more wear along bottom-edge. Some wear to corners. Opening is slightly warped with signs of use and a few small tears near center on front edge. Contains previously unreleased material. (Not a cut-out.)
Judy Garland: From the Decca Vaults is a rare treat for Garland fans everywhere: a priceless collection of previously unreleased masters and alternate takes of some of Judy's choicest Decca recordings, taken directly from the vaults and heard on this album for the first time anywhere. While it is regrettable that she didn't make more recordings, the new and alternate material on this album resents an exciting chance to hear variant versions of some of her most interesting and obscure work for Decca. Because Judy seldom sang any song the same way twice, they offer not only a unique opportunity of experiencing her creative powers at work, but virtually amount to new recording from her Decca years.
