Details
Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges, moderate scuffing, surface impressions and a few tiny surface abrasions (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (WB ads); one seam partially split. Spine is mostly readable with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. (Top-right corner is cut.)
Tarzana Kid, by John Sebastian, marked a significant reunion with his former Lovin' Spoonful producer Erik Jacobsen, with whom he had parted ways in 1967. The album, a blend of pop and folk rock, featured notable guest artists like Lowell George, Emmylou Harris, and Ry Cooder, showcasing Sebastian's eclectic musical influences, including a cover of Jimmy Cliff's Sitting in Limbo that reflected the emerging popularity of reggae in the U.S. Tracks like Dixie Chicken and Singing the Blues were highlighted for their unique interpretations.
