Condition Details:

Vinyl plays with occasional crackles (play-graded). Cover looks okay; a few creases near edges; scuffing, water damage, discoloration spots, and the cover has come unglued (front/back). Inner-sleeve is original (generic white), two seams split and two numbers written. Spine is mostly easy-to-read with mild-wear and small split near top. Minor shelf-wear along top-edge, heavier wear and a split along bottom-edge. Wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use, rippling and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

About The Record:

Warm by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. It was the group's final album to reach the top 40 of the Billboard 200 album chart. Warm was a vast departure from previous Tijuana Brass albums and featured much slower-paced songs, leaning more toward a Brazilian type of sound. At this point in his career, Alpert had grown tired of the band's previous style of music, feeling that it was repetitive, and wanted to try a different direction. The opening track, The Sea Is My Soil, is among the longest songs ever released by the Tijuana Brass at four and a half minutes, while two songs on the album feature lead vocals by Alpert (Without Her and To Wait for Love), all of which were released as singles.
