Travel happy with a unique Tote made entirely out of workday Carhartts. Carry a bag with legacy and save the landfill as well. It is bound to bring you joy and a smile to those around you. and those around you, carry a repurposed Carhartt tote. I took pictures in Yellowstone park - the tote has already been on an adventure.
Bag measures about 17” wide and 16” tall. The strap is about 25” long and will fit comfortably on your shoulder. The straps are made from jean waistbands - notice the dark spots on the straps where the belt loops were removed. Tote includes two inner pockets shown.
When given used material, like the two pairs of work pants used in this design, I find it delightful to find two pair with similar coloring given the times each pair is worn. I hope you appreciate, as I do, the details, wear marks and subtle staining giving the bag I-can-do-this authenticity.

Hello! My name is Doreen Young and I live rurally in Pony MT at the base of Hollowtop Mountain. My personal value for quality and my drive to create something out of nothing has led me to design denim totes etc. from repurposed jeans to make your get-up-and-go adventures even happier.
NOTE: All repurposed jeans are washed and bleached. Contructed & stored in a smoke-free pet-free home.
I've been sewing with denim for years. I was using my life-long attention-to-detail sewing skills to create special upcycled jean quilts as gifts back in the 1990s. My lovingly created blankets are durable, cozy, wash-able and feel like they hug you back. Perhaps I'll make more :)
