Finished with pure tung oil. 8" x 8", with a 6" diameter bowl in the center. Four offset cigar rests so nobody needs to touch tips. Large enough for full size cigars. Rubber feet on the bottom. Each ashtray is branded with my signature.
Naturally, grain pattern and tone will vary from ashtray to ashtray.

I've been in the cigar industry a long time — first as an editor at Cigar Snob Magazine, and later as a partner and cigar program director at one of Miami's premier cigar bars. Like so many other woodworkers, I fell into this more or less by accident. At first, I was making items for us to use at our bar. Then Christmas gifts that I'd post on social media. Before long, I had orders coming in and I was spending more time at my table saw than I'd ever anticipated; it only made sense that I go all-in. Now I'm making ashtrays, cigar torches, humidors, and some other non-cigar items like cutting boards and tables. Of course, I'm still lighting up while I'm waiting for glue to dry.
