Details
Import from UK. Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing, large number of surface impressions (front/back); top-left of back is partly torn from opening. Inner-sleeve is original (Lyrics/credits/picutre). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is mostly crisp with signs of light use and divots, tear towards top. (Not a cut-out.)
Cuts Both Ways, by Gloria Estefan, marked a significant shift from her work with Miami Sound Machine, though the band still backed her. The album blends Latin pop, dance, and ballad styles, showcasing Estefan's versatility and appeal across English and Spanish markets. It was historically significant as one of the first major crossover albums by a Latin artist, paving the way for the Latin pop boom of the 1990s. Hit singles include Don't Wanna Lose You, a heartfelt ballad that reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Get on Your Feet, an upbeat dance track, and Here We Are, a top 10 hit. The album achieved triple platinum status in the U.S., solidifying Estefan's global stardom.
