Gasteria minima is a believed to be a species endemic of Natal (South Africa) also know as Gasteria gracilis. Minima has basal leaves that are fleshy, thick, anceolate, to pillowy, tongue-like. Smooth, shiny, green speckled, wide with white dots and variably striped with yellow. Leaves may turn red if plant is stressed. Flowers are small up to 2 cm, pendulous, tubular, bicoloured reddish-pink and green that look like little stomachs(typical gasteria flowers shape) . The inflorescence can be branched and tall. Flowers can be produced any time of year, peaking in midwinter to spring.

This plant may ship bareroot. You will receive a similar plant size as the one shown.     Welcome to our store. We are Beauties & Beasts!! We are not commercial growers. We are plant hobbyists, for the hobbyist.

    Located in Carson, CA (South Los Angeles) with over 25 years of experience growing over 800 plants of various genera mainly cacti, succulents, orchids, and carnivorous plants. Assisted by my daughter, we enjoy growing plants, sharing the plants we grow, our experiences and achievements. We focus on promoting the hobby, education, and conservation. We are active members of various societies, and also serve on the board in various non profits. I am a proud co-founder of SCCPE (sccpe.org), a very active carnivorous plant society in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. We (SCCPE) host the largest carnivorous plant show and sale event in the world every June. Our event is growing more and more every year . We also participate in many local and not-so-local plant group meets, events, and shows. Feel free to contact us for any reason, we look forward hearing from you!! We also offer local pick up for those of you in the area. If you live in the LA, or will be visiting the area you can schedule a visit with us ahead of time. We are not open to the public for walk ins, only by appointment.
