Expandable Silver/Copper Trivet

I cannot find any information about this unusual expanding trivet. It has a German style design with people dancing and sitting at tables with steins of beer. There are floral and fruit designs and this piece seems inspired by art deco filigree design. Additionally, it has a copper tone to it. This piece may have originally been copper plated but both copper colors and silver are visible. It's very heavy and beautiful! measures 10" and 11.5" when fully extended.
