Endgrain Brick Pattern Cutting Boards

End grain Walnut and Maple cutting board sanded to 220 grit, soaked in mineral oil to protect the board from moisture, and sealed with home-made beeswax board butter to protect the wood and provide a silky smooth finish.

Walnut Board measures 15.5 inches long. 8.5 inches wide, and 1.5 inches thick (though due to handmade nature of the board dimensions may vary slightly.) and Cherry board 14 inches long, 8.5 inches wide, and 1.5 inches thick.

End grain cutting boards are said to be more gentle on the edge of knifes used on them, helping to preserve the life of your knifes. Along with this, the end grain fibers hide knife marks, making the board last longer and maintain a "new" look much longer then edge grain cutting boards.

Corners and edges are hand sanded to maintain a modern aesthetic while removing sharp edges. Both sides of the board are finished so allow them to both be used as cutting surfaces. I recommend putting down a damp towel to stop the board from moving while in use.
