Early 12" SKOOKUM Chief doll. The doll has suede moccasins. The chief is missing his braids. otherwise in good condition.
What is not widely known is that these dolls were assembled by average housewives in their spare time to generate income for the family. My family was located in CO at the time the company who produced the dolls was in the Denver area. This doll is one that was assembled by either my great aunt of great grandmother. I do not know which one made this specific doll.
