“Drinks The Wind”, Driftwood and Resin Sculpture

A one of a kind, mixed media sculpture , carved from Montana driftwood and epoxy resin. This wall-mount horse piece is inlaid with turquoise and chrysocolla, and features a custom, hand forged steel bracket to securely hold it in your space.
In the ancient texts, the horse was said to be a “drinker of the wind”, and for this piece, my model was a beautiful Arabian mare.
“Drinks the Wind” was recently featured in the luxury gift guide in Cowboys and Indians magazine, and is an example of the Contemporary Western Art we are producing one unique piece at a time here in Montana at Twisted Tree Forge.
