Inner-sleeve is original (lyrics and album info); two seams partially split. Spine is mostly readable with some wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening shows signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)

It spent 18 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album sales charts and went multi-platinum. It spawned a follow-up album entitled More Dirty Dancing. The Soundtrack album went on to sell 42 million copies worldwide and is one of the best-selling albums of all time. (I've Had) The Time of My Life, was a No. 1 single which won both the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Original Song, and a Grammy Award for best duet (Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes). Several hit follow-up singles from the album were released. She's Like the Wind, performed by lead actor Patrick Swayze,peaked at No. 3 in 1988. Hungry Eyes, performed by Eric Carmen, peaked at No. 4 in 1988. And Yes, performed by Merry Clayton, peaked No. 45 in 1988.
