Other comics involved included Michael Keaton, John Lovitz, and Gilda Radner, as well as Bob Goldthwait, Howie Mandel, George Wendt, Dennis Miller, John Candy, Firesign Theatre, Martin Short, and George Carlin. Some call it the greatest assembledge of American comedians ever! They came together to make people laugh in hopes of raising funds for the growing number of homeless in our country. The first show netted US$2.5 million.
