Chalkware Jesus Wall Plaque

This is a vintage 3D chalkware "tondo" wall plaque. This round hanging sculpture features a bust of Jesus in the style of Renaissance sculptor Luca Della Robbia. It is hand-painted and glazed to give the appearance of being made of wood, depicting Jesus in profile with a halo behind his head and a wreath of leaves.

These types of religious plaques were popular in the 1940s-1960s. This hobbyist piece was made in the USA. It is pre-owned and in good condition. No major chips or cracks on the visible side. There is a hole in the back to hang on the wall.
