Chabudai low table

This is a low folding table, built in the traditional chabudai form. It has folding legs that lock in place. It's made from knotty alder which has been stained a java color. The clear finish is a water-based finish that is very durable and stain resistant.

I have built many of these, but this is the first that I have stained. Also the leg style is new for me, this leg seems more in character with the traditional Japanese chabudai style.
