Carhartt Tote
Details
Tote made from repurposed durable Carhartt jeans worn by local hardworking Montana rancher/cowboys. The tote is constructed using two pairs of Carhartts, making the bag showing two different shades of olive green creating interest. Fraying on bag top is from the bottom leg of its former life.
Bag measures 15” wide and 15” long. Straps measure 25” and can be Comfortably worn on your shoulder. Straps are made from jean waistbands. Along with the back pockets shown on outside, the bag has deep outside pockets for all your treasures.

Hello! My name is Doreen Young and I live rurally in Pony Montana at the base of Hollowtop Mountain. My personal value for quality and my drive to create something out of nothing has led me to design denim totes from repurposed jeans, useful and unique. They are made to make your get-up-and-go adventures even happier.
I've been sewing with denim for years. I was using my life-long attention-to-detail sewing skills to create special upcycled jean quilts as gifts back in the 1990s. My lovingly created blankets are durable, cozy, wash-able and feel like they hug you back. Perhaps I'll make more :)
