Details
Vinyl plays nicely (play-graded). Cover has light-scuffing (front/back); back has slight discoloration with darker spots. Inner-sleeve is original (Liberty ads); two seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Come Back When You Grow Up, by Bobby Vee,marked a transitional phase in his career as he moved from teen idol pop toward a more mature sound influenced by the era's evolving music landscape. Produced by Dallas Smith, the album blends upbeat pop with sentimental ballads, reflecting Vee's attempt to appeal to both his established fanbase and a broader adult audience. The title track, Come Back When You Grow Up, became a significant hit, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Vee one of his biggest chart successes. Historically, the album is notable for capturing the mid-1960s shift in pop music, as artists like Vee navigated the rise of rock and folk influences while maintaining their commercial appeal.
