About The Record:

Photographs of feeling, by Bob Lind, is a notable work in the 1960s folk rock movement, showcasing his poetic songwriting and the genre's evolving sound. The album, produced and arranged by Jack Nitzsche, features ten original tracks that blend baroque pop and folk rock, earning critical acclaim for its lyrical depth and innovative style. Despite its praise, the album faced commercial challenges due to competing releases from Lind's earlier work on different labels, which diluted its market impact. The single Remember the Rain reached No. 46 in the US Billboard 100 and 64 in the UK, while I Just Let It Take Me peaked at 123 and San Francisco Woman at 135 in the US, failing to replicate the success of Lind's earlier hit Elusive Butterfly. Historically, the album underscores Lind's role in shaping folk rock, though its significance was overshadowed by industry dynamics and modest chart performance.
