Details
This is a hand-sculpted dining/breakfast table made from locally sourced Oregon Black Walnut. To add interest, the top includes a slight hint of a live edge. The majority of the top measures approximately 43" in diameter and is 30" tall. The base is also solid walnut, hand sculpted in a modern twist on a classic tulip style base. This size of table is generally considered a suitable size for four adults. Make sure this size matches the size of your adults though.
The wood chosen for this table is nothing short of astonishing. Heavily figured "curly" black walnut through the majority of the top. Wood like this is generally reserved for high end instruments. The base is made from matching black walnut with reddish undertones and deep streaks that almost appear black.
