The tabletop is book-matched American black walnut sourced from the forests of southern Wisconsin, built around a jet-black epoxy resin channel that runs the full length of the slab. The contrast amplifies the curl, sapwood glow, and chatoyance in the grain while locking the two halves together permanently. The matte-black powder-coated steel base echoes the river line, with pre-installed leveling pads to protect hardwood floors.
The table is 40 inches long, 11 inches wide, and 34.5 inches tall with a 1.25-inch slab.
The table is finished with Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil providing a durable finish while still allowing the wood grain texture to be felt.
US Shipping: The tabletop and base will come disassembled to save on shipping cost, so minor assembly consisting of fastening four screws is required. Shipping cost will be based on location.
