Vintage mid-1960s Atlanta Civil War lot featuring two related publications and the original mailing envelope. First is The Atlanta Cyclorama: The Story of the Famed Battle of Atlanta by Wilbur G. Kurtz, published by the City of Atlanta with copyright dates 1954 and 1966. Oversize softcover booklet with color views of the Cyclorama painting, battlefield diagrams, a map of the Atlanta area, and photos of Grant Park and other parks. Original order cards/advertising inserts are still laid in. Second is The Campaign for Atlanta! – the 1964 special edition from Civil War Times Illustrated, a softcover magazine-style booklet with articles by leading Civil War historians, plus maps, period photographs, and artwork covering the 1864 Atlanta Campaign and the fall of the city. Also included is the original printed envelope from “The Atlanta Cyclorama of The Battle of Atlanta,” addressed area left blank. Great lot for Civil War buffs, Atlanta history collectors, or anyone interested in the famous Cyclorama.
Outer envelope has some wear including discoloration from being exposed to light. No rips or tears to booklet / magazine pages noted. See pictures for further details on condition.
