This antique tray is well tarnished. I do not clean antique metal as not to risk any surface damage. I leave that to discretion of buyer.

The maker is Van Bergh of Rochester, NY. Founded in 1892, and merged into Oneida 1926.

Quadruple plate is a process of using 4 layers of silver plate over the base metal to produce a heavier, higher quality piece than standard silverplate.
