Details

Germany adopted the official divided back for domestic mail around 1905 although it was a few years before international use came along. Divided Back Album features 20 postcards depicting the Landmark of the City of Nurnberg, Germany. This period was known as the Golden Period of postcards. The printed lithograph postcards most likely tourist souvenir without vehicles or horse drawn carriages. The address side (back) is split vertically. The right side is reserved for the recipient's address and postage, while the left side is designated for a personal message. The standard-sized postcards are made of paper and were most likely manufactured between 1900-1919 but could possibly be later, by Verlag: Philipp Krebs in Dresden. This collectible postcard booklet is a unique glimpse into the historical landmarks and charm of Nurnberg cities and towns.

Please look at all the photos prior to deciding to make a purchase. This is a gently used / pre-owned item. And, ANTIQUE (100 +) is seldom perfect. Yellowing, wear to the exterior flaps, and while we are not detecting any strong smells, it’s possible for the buyer to do so. Buyer is strongly encouraged to review the photos and decide for themselves its condition as my interpretation may not align with yours. Prior to a purchase, questions not answered in photos, details, description are welcome.

We began in earnest to move along items left behind by prior generations on our property - a 5th generation Family Legacy - to create a NEW legacy for our family while contributing to our son's university expenses and preserving this beautiful piece of land we have been blessed to be stewards of. We live mostly a homesteading lifestyle in a rural setting and why we chose: Foundthingsandfamilylegacies as our username and business name.
