Details
Absolutely gorgeous antique blue transfer plate, most likely made by Stubbs and Kent of Staffordshire in the early 19th century. Dating to the 1820s or so, this 8.5" English pottery plate features a center medallion of fruit surrounded by lush flowers.
CONDITION: VERY GOOD (Poor-->Fair-->Good-->Very Good-->Excellent-->Mint): Remarkable condition for its age. No chips or cracks, no flea bites. Tiny rough area on one edge, but I believe that is from manufacturing, not a flaw. Stilt marks present. Light crazing on bottom.
MARKINGS: No maker's mark, but there is a number incised on bottom.
MEASUREMENTS: 8.5" in diameter
WEIGHT (w/o packaging): 9.5 oz
