We Could, by Al Martino, was released single from the album of the same name. It was written by Felice Bryant and originally recorded by "Little" Jimmy Dickens. It's been recorded by numerous acts over the years, and American pop crooner Al Martino's version peaked at No. 41 on Hot 100 chart. Boasting a string of hit singles and LPs that stretched from the early 50s into the mid-'70s, Martino may be better known for his role in The Godfather. He portrayed singer Johnny Fontane, a character supposedly based on Frank Sinatra but with eerie similarities to Martino's own career.
