$255.00

Details

Hi... This one-of-a-kind teapot is a must-have for any Art collector or tea enthusiast. Crafted by the renowned artist duo LAUREL IZARD and EDWIN SHELTON at their IZWIN pottery studio in Chicago 1991, this teapot is a true gem of art. The unique design features a hand-painted glossy glaze finish, with added surface paint and a double-faced lid and car spout, making it a contemporary piece with a touch of whimsical charm. The teapot is a heavy handcrafted high-quality ceramic piece and is 12" x 9" large. The teapot is a perfect gem. This is an original functional LAUREL IZARD + EDWIN SHELTON work of art and is truly a must-have for any serious collector.

This funky fun teapot shows no surface ware at all and is free of scratches, chips and cracks. It's outer glaze is applied in intentional layers of dips and dabs with added layers of acrylic paint to give the surface additional texture and color.

I have described this whimsical work as best I can, but additional to my description I have provided several high-resolution images from varying angles to allow for a more detailed review of quality, and condition. Comes from a smoke free home. No returns, please.

This will be packaged with great care to best ensure it arrives in the same vintage condition and as pictured.

If you have any questions, corrections, or concerns, please feel free to message me. And of course, feel free to send me your best offer if you wish.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
