1940's 12" Female SKOOKUM Native Doll Carrying Baby on Back

Early 1940's - about 12 1/2" tall SKOOKUM female carrying baby on her back doll. The doll has paper over wood moccasins. In good condition overall. From a smoke and pet free home.

What is not widely known is that these dolls were assembled by average housewives in their spare time to generate income for the family. My family was located in CO at the time the company who produced the dolls was in the Denver area. This doll is one that was assembled by either, my great aunt of great grandmother. I do not know which one made this specific doll.
