I use voice typing so sorry for any typos or punctuation. I have just over 1500 books here. they were all from my online bookstore. None of these books has been scanned to find out what they're worth on amazon. many of these books were priced between $10 and $20 and I did a blanket short sale at $5 and sold a bunch and decided that I wanted to just sell them all in a big lot after about a week. There are probably 20% of the books that would not have a scannable code on them because those books are always worth more than the low hanging fruit that people go to thrift stores to scan. the way I differentiated myself from the big book sellers that sell books for $4 shipped is mine are in very good condition at a minimum and I would say about 97% of them have absolutely no markings in them. I have had a ton of repeat buyers that are willing to pay for the books because I took the actual picture of the book and I guarantee the condition. if you know how the big book sellers do it they don't do either one of those things they run it through a machine and you have no idea what the condition is. these books are all in the boxes you see there are a total of 41 boxes that will fit on one pallet. the average price was just over $11 per book from the high to the low and a lot of those books were way underpriced to come up with that number. so let's just say that these books had about a $16,000 value at a minimum when I had them online. I will start this at $225 and that will give you guys plenty of room to pay for shipping and still be under the $1 per bookmark. I focus primarily on nonfiction and historical non-fiction and religious books and any other book that I felt would have value above $5. now I only sell books that are high dollar personally. but when I had these listed I was averaging 5 to 10 sales a day. and one customer bought over 70 books. you are responsible for figuring out how to pick them up whether you want to do that or pay someone to do it. we cannot help load anything but we do have it all organized and you can back up to our outbuilding and someone can easily walk up and put them in the back of the truck or put them on a pallet and shrink wrap them. there are no book lists. shipping not free you need to arrange pickup.
