Lamberton china, later known as Scammell China, had a history spanning several decades, starting in 1869 when the Lamberton Works opened. The factory was eventually purchased by the Scammell family in 1923 and continued to produce china under the Lamberton and Scammell names until closing in 1954. The Scammell China Company produced a wide range of china, including dinnerware, hotel and restaurantware, and commemorative pieces.
