Welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by. We started as a husband and wife team that enjoyed collecting for years. Unfortunately, Brian (the husband) passed away, but Sarah has chosen to keep FKV going. We enjoy all sorts of vintage items, midcentury, art deco, collectables, art glass, antiques, crystal, housewares, sporting goods, and much more. Why Fluffy Kitty Vintage? That would be courtesy of our fluffy cat, Sassy. He was a real character; just the sweetest cat who loved to snuggle and cuddle and always be on you or by you. He has an interesting story...he was an outdoor cat for the first 12 years or so of his life and one winter it was so cold outside, Brian opened the back door and asked him to come in. Felt so sad for him out there in the cold. After a few baths which he did not appreciate (!), we gave him some food and a cat bed and he was most definitely our kitty. ;) We are amazed at how well behaved he was for being an outdoor cat all of his life and how sweet and kind he is to us. Sassy ended his retirement with us 3 years ago, but our new kitty Bug keeps us company while we are on our platforms. He might even pop in to one of our live shows!
